Who uses it

email-triage is a personal tool. Its only user is its owner, on their own Gmail account. It is not offered to or used by anyone else.

What it accesses

Through the Gmail API scope gmail.modify it reads the owner's messages (sender, recipients, subject, body and labels). It uses that access only to apply labels, change read state, and file a daily report in the same mailbox. It never sends mail and never deletes mail permanently.

Where the data goes

• The tool runs on the owner's own computer. Logs and caches stay there; there is no server or database.
• To classify a message, its sender, recipients, subject and body are sent to TypeSafe (api.typesafe.ai).
• To write the daily report, the text of selected messages is sent to Anthropic's Claude.
• Nothing is sold, shared with anyone else, or used for advertising.

Google API data

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be removed at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps & services.
